What is a Whole Head Tint?
Also known as a full head of colour or a tint, this treatment applies permanent colour evenly through every section of hair from root to ends. It's the most straightforward way to change shade completely, cover grey fully, or go noticeably darker or lighter than your natural colour allows with partial techniques.
The Process
Consultation - we choose your shade together and check your hair and scalp are suitable for a full application
Application - colour is applied methodically section by section, starting at the roots
Processing - usually around 30-45 minutes, longer for long hair. Sit back with a proper coffee from a local cafe while you wait
Rinse & condition - colour is rinsed out and a conditioning treatment applied to seal in shine. A blow-dry or cut can be added on top for an extra charge

Aftercare & Maintenance
For long hair, allow around 2 hours in the chair; shorter hair processes quicker. Most clients return every 6-8 weeks as regrowth appears, or opt for a quicker regrowth tint in between full applications.

How long does a whole head tint take?
If you've got long hair it'll take about 2 hours, not so long for shorter hair. Either way, we'll keep you comfortable while it develops.
Is a patch test needed?
Yes - all technical colour clients need a skin test at least 48 hours before the appointment, so please call ahead if it's your first colour treatment with us or it's been a while.
Does the price include cutting or a blow-dry?
No - this price is for the tint only. Cutting and blow-drying can be added on top for an extra charge, just ask when you book.
